MotoGP had the starting grid for the Hungarian GP, the eighth round of the 2026 season, held at Balaton Park, defined this Saturday morning (6). Marc Márquez took pole position by setting a time of 1min36s785 in Q2. Thus, the Ducati rider starts at the front in both the Sprint and the main race.

The front row of the grid will also feature Pedro Acosta, a KTM rider, and Fermín Aldeguer, from Gresini, a Ducati satellite team. Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi starts in sixth with Aprilia. Brazilian Diogo Moreira, with an LCR Honda, starts both races from 11th position.
The Sprint at Balaton Park will start at 10 am this Saturday, while the Hungarian GP will be held on Sunday, at 9 am.
