Jorge Martín isolated himself in the lead of the MotoGP championship after winning the Sprint of the Austrian GP, the 15th round of the 2026 season. The Aprilia rider triumphed after starting from pole position and recovering from a poor start, when he fell to seventh, to advance to first place in the short race, adding 12 more points and reaching 286 in the standings.

Marc Márquez, second place in Saturday’s race, now has 283 and is in second position in the standings, after starting the day tied with Martín. Marco Bezzecchi, with 248, appears in third place in the championship, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio, fourth with 223. Ai Ogura and Pedro Acosta, both with 209, close out the top 5.
Raúl Fernández, with 199 points, is in seventh place in the championship, followed by Álex Márquez, eighth with 158. Francesco Bagnaia, with 147, and Fermín Aldeguer, with 107, complete the list of the top ten in the standings. The only Brazilian on the grid, Diogo Moreira is 14th with 64 points.
