TCR South America confirms 2026 calendar starting in Brazil

TCR South America has confirmed its 2026 calendar with a novelty: this year, the competition will start in Brazil. The championship will pass through five Brazilian cities, together with TCR Brazil, and then head to Argentina. After completing four stages in the neighboring country, the destination for the tenth and final stage will be Uruguay.

The competition will have its first start in Curvelo, Minas Gerais, on March 8. Then, on the weekend of the 29th, the second stage takes place in Santa Cruz do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul. The third stage is at the traditional Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo, and takes place on April 26. More than a month later, on June 13, the fourth stage will be in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. To close the Brazilian calendar, the Velocitta Circuit, in Mogi Guaçu, will host the fifth stage of TCR South America and the grand final of TCR Brazil at the end of July.

On August 23, the competition goes to Argentina, at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit. Two other dates are scheduled: September 13 and October 4, with the circuit yet to be defined. The last stage in the country will be on November 8, in Rosario. Shortly after, on December 6, the drivers move to Uruguay, at the El Pinar circuit, for the grand final.

The 2026 TCR South America grid is being announced gradually, but important names have already been confirmed, such as the return of the 2025 champion, Leonel Pernía. Additionally, the category also welcomes Hyundai as a new manufacturer.
