Mechanical problems limited G Racing in the seventh stage of the Bradesco TCR South America, held on a very cold weekend in Concórdia, Argentina. Despite the difficulties, the team managed to score important points and keep its drivers in good positions in the championship.

Bruno Massa was the main highlight of the team in the stage. After a weekend of work in search of the best setup, the driver completed both races and finished second in the Junior Cup. The result also moved him up to sixth place in the overall category standings.
“It was a very challenging weekend. We worked throughout the stage to find the best setup and, in the last race, we managed to set a good pace. We finished P2 in the Junior category, an important result to close the stage and that shows the evolution of our work during the weekend,” celebrated the driver.
Enzo Gianfratti, in turn, had to overcome a series of problems with the car. Breakdowns during practice sessions hindered preparation for qualifying and the races, making it difficult to find the ideal setup. Even in this scenario, he managed to stay in the Top-10 in the standings.
In the first race, Gianfratti had a problem during braking, when the wheels locked and the car got stuck in the gravel. The situation worsened in the second race. With only three laps to go, a half-shaft broke, but the driver managed to bring the car to the finish.

“It was a very complicated and challenging weekend for us. We had some breakdowns during practice, which ended up compromising our work and prevented us from finding the ideal car setup for qualifying and the races. In Race 1, we had a problem during braking, when the wheels locked and I ended up stuck in the gravel. In Race 2, with only three laps to go, a half-shaft broke. Even with the problem, I managed to bring the car to the finish line and complete the race. Overall, the results were well below what I expected, but it’s part of motorsport,” the driver emphasized.
Now, the team needs to leave the problems in Concórdia behind and focus efforts on the next stage. “Now it’s about keeping our heads up, understanding everything that happened during the weekend, and focusing on the next stage, in Posadas, Argentina, aiming to come back stronger.”
There are three stages left before the season ends. The next will be held on October 3 and 4, in Posadas, also in Argentina. Then, the championship moves to Rosario in November, before the decision in El Pinar, Uruguay, in early December.
