Arthur Gama is the first driver announced by Cavaleiro Sports in NASCAR Brasil

Cavaleiro Sports has officialized the first name of its project for NASCAR Brasil in 2026. The team, led by Beto Cavaleiro, confirmed Arthur Gama as a full-time driver for the debut season, which is also marked by the introduction of the new RiSE26 car.

Born in Porto Alegre (RS), Gama will compete with the number 9 Ford. With a career that began in karting at six years old, the driver accumulated regional and national titles, gained prominence in the then GT Sprint Race by becoming the first winner in the category’s history in the PROAM class, went through Turismo 1.4, and won the Stock Series title in 2024.

“Expectations with Cavaleiro Sports are very high. I am happy to be part of an extremely consolidated team in Brazilian motorsport and I am sure we will arrive strong, fighting for victories,” stated Gama. “NASCAR Brasil is a category for which I have enormous affection. It has provided me with important achievements in my career and, every year, it has been showing its value even more, growing within Brazil and creating new opportunities for young drivers,” he says. “The races are becoming more and more exciting, and I can’t wait for the season to start,” he completes.

Another point that increases expectations for 2026 is the new car model. “I am anxious to see the new RiSE on the track; looking from the outside, it looks sensational, and I am sure the public will like it,” comments Gama. Regarding the calendar, the driver evaluates: “The calendar turned out very interesting, without repeating stages, which will be excellent for the public. We will have stages on ovals, increasingly reinforcing the essence of American NASCAR.”
