Alfredo Ibiapina, better known as Alfredinho, is confirmed on the NASCAR Brasil Series grid in 2026. After a debut season that became a benchmark, the youngster renewed his contract with Full Time and will continue driving the Ford Mustang #8, seeking to continue the rise that drew attention since the first stages of the championship.

In 2025, the rookie ended the year winning the Rookie of the Year title, Special Edition champion, and runner-up in the Overall and Brazilian Championship. The performance also opened international doors: selected for the Driver Development Experience in Charlotte, United States, the birthplace of American NASCAR, he stood out in an intense week of testing and mentoring. The result guaranteed the driver the opportunity to compete in four Pro Late Model races in the USA in 2026.
With the confirmation of the season, Alfredinho does not hide his excitement to return to the track. “The expectation is to achieve a lot with the team. Full Time is the current Overall and Brazilian championship champion with Rubinho Barrichello and the Special Edition with me. It is a team that showed a lot of strength last year and we are going all out to have another incredible year in the category,” says the driver.

In addition to the new contract, 2026 marks Alfredinho’s first contact with the RiSE26, a car that arrives with a significant increase in power and promises to change the dynamics of NASCAR Brasil racing. “With the large increase in power compared to the previous car, I believe many drivers will have ease and also difficulties. However, we will clear all doubts when we drive the cars on the track for the first time,” he comments.
The season calendar also brings extra motivation. With more responsibility, more mileage, and new tracks, Alfredinho is preparing to maintain the aggressiveness that placed him among the great highlights of the championship. “The venues are very interesting, with new tracks and more ovals added. I am very excited,” he concluded.
