Cavaleiro Sports has confirmed Denis Navarro as the team’s driver for the 2026 NASCAR Brasil Series season. The São Paulo native will make his debut in the category at the championship opener on April 12 in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), with the mission of fighting for the top positions from the start of the year.

With a career marked by longevity and competitiveness, Navarro arrives carrying decades of experience in motorsport. A runner-up in the Brazilian Touring Car Championship, he started in karting, with participations in Brazil and South America, migrated to single-seaters in Formula Ford, raced in Formula Chevrolet and South American Formula 3, and in 2009 competed in F-Star Mazda in the United States. Back in the country, he competed in the Copa Montana before establishing himself in Stock Car, where he remained for 14 seasons.
The reunion with Cavaleiro Sports marks another chapter of a partnership that has already existed in the pits. Now, driver and team unite under the NASCAR banner, precisely in Cavaleiro’s debut year in the category. “It’s very cool to continue with Cavaleiro in this new challenge. NASCAR Brasil has been growing and consolidating itself more and more in the country, and it’s very good to be part of this together with the team,” says Navarro. “As Cavaleiro is also debuting in the category, we are going to build this story together. We will race the full 2026 season,” he adds.

For the new phase, Navarro will drive the #5 Chevrolet Camaro, RiSE26 model, with which the team will compete in the nine stages of the championship on tracks with distinct characteristics. Expectations for the start of the season are high. “The calendar is very diversified, without repeating any venue, and there is the matter of driving on oval circuits, which are different. I’m looking forward to it,” says the driver.
