Dale Earnhardt Jr expressed his desire to see Daniel Ricciardo back on the tracks in motorsport. However, the American pointed out that he would like to see the former Formula 1 driver competing in NASCAR.

The 26-time Cup Series winner hopes that the Australian will start venturing into the United States. Daniel has been away from competitions since he was dropped from Racing Bulls in mid-2024 for the promotion of Liam Lawson.
However, Ricciardo has already announced his retirement from the tracks and is currently only an ambassador for Ford Racing.

But now, Earnhardt Jr hopes that Daniel will return to racing in a different challenge, venturing onto NASCAR tracks – the Australian grew up being a fan of Dale’s father.
“I was hoping Daniel Ricciardo could go to NASCAR after his decision to leave Formula 1, and that could still happen,” he said in an interview with Hard Rock Bet.
“Daniel is still relatively young,” he added.
