Driver Vitor Genz, from Porto Alegre (RS), begins the 2026 NASCAR Brasil Series season with important career news. Brazilian champion of the category with a title won in 2024 and also Special Edition champion in the 2023 competition, the gaucho joins the grid defending the Full Time Sports team, aboard the Ford Mustang #46.

With vast experience in national and international motorsport, Genz arrives at this new phase motivated by the union between a multi-champion driver and one of the most competitive structures in the championship.
The season opener will take place with the “The Duel” event at the Pan-American Circuit in Indaiatuba (SP) on March 15, followed by the first official stage on April 12, in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), a racetrack that holds special meaning for the driver.
“The track is sensational and I feel at home racing there, and I will count on the massive support of family and friends. I believe the team that has already worked with the car will be able to achieve good development and have good ideas to work on based on my feedback,” Genz highlighted.
The 2026 season features a calendar with significant changes, including a greater presence of stages on oval circuits, a feature that promises more dynamic and competitive races. “It’s a very different calendar from what we’ve had in other years, with many more oval stages. And they are interesting for the public, generating more overtaking and fun races to compete in, even if most drivers in Brazil don’t have much experience on this type of track,” he explained.
The driver also highlighted the start of the season on circuits that are part of his history. “The first stages are very good for me. Santa Cruz do Sul is a track in my region, in my state, where I have a lot of experience. Right after comes Cascavel, which is literally tattooed on me; the last time we competed in the 100-mile race there, I won. It’s a calendar I like a lot, despite the absence of Tarumã, which has many stories in my career,” Vitor highlights.
The partnership with Full Time Sports raises expectations for the championship, joining forces in search of new results. “Expectations for 2026 are high because we are bringing together the team that won the title in the category last year. I believe we will be very strong. Additionally, we will focus heavily on marketing and content creation, which should bring a very positive return for everyone,” he mentions.
Genz also highlighted the technical evolution of the new NASCAR Brasil car. “The new car is safer, has more technology, more power, and is faster. I have already participated in the development of several cars in other categories and I believe I can contribute a lot to evolving quickly and being competitive,” Vitor Genz concludes.
