After opening the season with 75 drivers in action at Interlagos starting the 2026 calendar with a record number of entries in the event’s history, the Porsche Cup C6 Bank will have even more competitors in action this weekend at Velocitta. There are 78 entries in the three categories competing in Mogi Guaçu.

The fullest grid is the Carrera, which races with the most modern 911 Cup cars from the 992 generation. There are 36 drivers on the grid of the main category, which will have two races this weekend.
The Challenge class, which uses cars from the 991.2 generation, will also have two races and has 22 competitors for the second round of the calendar. The Trophy, the entry division for the most produced racing cars on the planet and which accelerates models from the 991.1 generation, will put 20 competitors on track.
In addition to another absolute record of participants in the round, the event in Mogi Guaçu marks the debut of the performance ballast. According to the championship regulations, additional weights are distributed to cars according to their positions in the standings table. This promises to level the competition even more, which has already started very tight at the opening of the year at Interlagos.

Five races have been held so far at the José Carlos Pace Autodrome, with five different winners: Marçal Muller and Jeff Giassi (Carrera), Daniel Neumann and Gerson Campos (Challenge) and Sergio Laurentys (Trophy). The Carrera Sport and Challenge Rookie subdivisions also registered two different winners in São Paulo, respectively Sebá Malucelli, Alceu Feldmann, Claudio Simão and Raphael Bernardes. In the Carrera Rookie and Challenge Sport, both Pipo Massa and Cecilia Rabelo won both victories. Felipe Massa’s son, by the way, is “undefeated” in his brief motorsport career so far, having also won a race in Barcelona disputed with the same Porsche 911 Cup from the 992 generation between the opening of the Porsche Cup C6 Bank and this weekend’s round.
The Mogi Guaçu round will have track activities starting Thursday, with optional practice sessions. On Friday there are other sessions for car adjustments and the track will open on Saturday with the qualifying sessions for the Carrera and Challenge. Then the first two races take place and the schedule ends with the Trophy qualifying. The entry division opens Sunday’s schedule with its race and, in the afternoon, the inverted grid races for the Carrera and Challenge take place.
The races are broadcast live on Band and Bandsports channels, as well as on the official digital platforms of the Porsche Cup C6 Bank.
