This weekend Matheus Comparatto competes in the second stage of the Porsche Carrera Cup at Velocitta. The Shell driver arrives in great form after achieving two podiums in the inaugural stage at Interlagos.

In the first race of the São Paulo capital, the 2024 F4 Brasil champion finished in fourth place and in the second race he crossed the checkered flag in third. Comparatto has 41 points and is just 5 points behind the championship leader.
Velocitta brings good memories to the #118 Shell car driver, and in addition to winning races in single-seaters, he has also reached the podium twice in the Porsche Cup on the track located in Mogi Guaçu (SP). The driver, who is also supported by Randstad, Brasil Park and Act Digital, aims to take the championship lead in this stage.
The track in the interior of São Paulo is one of the most technical on the calendar and demands a lot from the drivers physically, with the circuit measuring 3,493 meters long and featuring 13 turns.

The weekend schedule includes an optional practice session on Thursday and another on Friday, when free practice 1 also takes place. On Saturday the track opens with qualifying in the morning, with race 1 starting at 13:50. Sunday’s race will have a grid inversion, with the start scheduled for 13:20.
The races are broadcast live on Band and Bandsports, as well as on the official digital channels of the Porsche Cup.

“Velocitta is a track that I really like, I won races in F4 Brasil and my debut in the Porsche Cup was on this track, reaching the podium twice. Interlagos was a good stage that put us right away in the fight for the top positions in the standings, but now I want to advance even more and who knows finish this second stage leading the championship. During the week I’ve already done simulator training, data analysis from last year and I think we have everything to have a good weekend.”
