In the opening stage, at Interlagos, Sanchez showed speed and managed to make more than ten overtakes in the second race, when he occupied a podium position, but was forced to retire after suffering a contact. This time the EMS Racing driver hopes to turn speed into victory to enter the fight for the Carrera Rookie title.

Velocitta is one of the most technical tracks on the calendar and demands a lot from the drivers physically due to the lack of long straights. The track located in the city of Mogi Guaçu (SP) has 3,493 meters in length and 13 turns.

The weekend schedule includes an optional practice session on Thursday and another on Friday, when free practice 1 also takes place. On Saturday the track opens with qualifying in the morning, with race 1 starting at 13:50. Sunday’s race will have a grid inversion, with the start scheduled for 13:20.

The races are broadcast live on Band and Bandsports, as well as on the official digital channels of the Porsche Cup.

What he said:
“I am confident, Velocitta is a track that I really like and we need a good result to make up for the first stage. At Interlagos we had speed, we managed to pass more than ten cars in the first laps of the second race, but I suffered a contact and had to retire. Now it’s about focusing on winning so I can enter the fight for the title.”
