The Porsche Cup has been expanding its grid at each stage of the 2026 season. So much so that at the last event at Interlagos, the one-make category featured 80 cars on the track.

The José Carlos Pace Circuit once again hosted the Carrera Cup, Sprint Challenge, and Trophy classes. In total, between Saturday and Sunday, five races were held during a weekend marked by changing weather conditions.
Speaking with F1MANIA.NET, Porsche Cup CEO Dener Pires praised the growing interest in the field, but of course, without neglecting driver safety.

“I see it very well, I think we are on a good path. Of course, we are always also considering safety issues and everything else, but I see it as good progress,” he said.
