This weekend, the competitor not only achieved two pole positions but also won both races held. The first took place mostly behind the safety car, but the second was largely under green flag conditions, with more of a ‘race feel’.
Therefore, evaluating how it was to secure the victory this Sunday, he told F1MANIA.NET that “today we had several race laps, I think there were two safety cars, but we managed to do several laps under green flag.”
“You could see the tire degradation, I took great care of the car at the start because I knew it would be lacking at the end, so at the beginning I saw that they followed more closely and from halfway to the end I managed to open a certain advantage because I think my car was a little more preserved from the start of the race. So, I think I did a good job and another victory which is extremely important for the championship,” he continued.

Now, Marçal just cannot suffer a disqualification in the last stage of the calendar, which takes place in November alongside Formula 1. Therefore, he is optimistic about his seventh Porsche Cup title. “Well, I’m not really prepared for that speech yet, I was very focused on the race, but now it’s time to try to focus, I just can’t get disqualified in the last one,” he said.
“I think, given my history of never having received any, it’s positive, we’ll try to come to fight for more victories which is the place the sponsor deserves to be,” he concluded.
