Ai Ogura won this Sunday (28) the Dutch GP, the tenth round of the 2026 MotoGP season, held at the Assen circuit. The Trackhouse rider, a satellite team of Aprilia, fell to sixth position at the start of the race after making a mistake, but recovered, climbed through the pack, and passed Raúl Fernández, his teammate, to win for the first time in his career in the category.

Second place went to Fernández, winner of the Sprint and who completed the Trackhouse 1-2 at Assen. Jorge Martín, who led most of the race, completed the podium with an official Aprilia. Fabio Di Giannantonio finished fourth with the VR46 Ducati, even after being penalized with a long lap. Álex Márquez, with a Gresini Ducati, closed the top 5.
Enea Bastianini finished sixth with the Tech3 KTM, while Marc Márquez crossed the finish line seventh with the Ducati. Fabio Quartararo, with a Yamaha, finished eighth, followed by Brad Binder, ninth with a KTM. Álex Rins, from Yamaha, closed the top 10. Diogo Moreira had to make a recovery race with the LCR Honda and finished 14th.
The race had a heavy crash involving Marco Bezzecchi, the rider who was the championship leader until then. The Italian was battling in the leading group when he crashed hard, leaving the race and being attended to by the marshals.
The MotoGP will continue on July 12, with the German GP at Sachsenring.

The race started with Jorge Martín maintaining first position even after being attacked by Ai Ogura, who appeared in second, followed by Raúl Fernández. Marco Bezzecchi was in fourth position, followed by Marc Márquez. Joan Mir crashed on the first lap, while Diogo Moreira dropped to 21st position.
Still on the first lap, Márquez took fourth position from Bezzecchi. On the next lap, the Aprilia Spaniard took advantage of an Ogura mistake to take third place, while the Japanese Trackhouse rider fell to sixth place. Still on the second lap, Bezzecchi crashed violently, abandoning the race. Shortly after, Ogura returned to fourth place.
Martín maintained the lead, always less than a second ahead of Fernández, the second-placed rider. Márquez, in turn, was pressured by Ogura, who was bringing Pedro Acosta with him. Further back, the performance of Toprak Razgatlioglu stood out, who was in 11th position at the end of the sixth lap.

Ogura passed Márquez on the sixth lap, returning to third place, while Fernández finally caught up with Martín to duel for the race lead on the seventh lap, the same moment Acosta overtook Márquez, taking fourth place. Cal Crutchlow went to the pits with the LCR Honda, allowing Moreira to advance to 17th place.
On the eighth lap, Márquez passed Acosta, regaining fourth place. The KTM Spaniard kept attacking and missed the braking point at turn 1 at the start of the ninth lap, losing fifth place to Francesco Bagnaia. Further back, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Álex Márquez. On the tenth lap, Franco Morbidelli crashed, leaving the race.
On lap 10, Bagnaia passed Márquez, taking fourth place. Up front, Fernández stayed close to leader Martín, while Ogura sought to close in on the leading pack. Acosta saw his KTM have a problem on lap 13, dropping down the race classification. Razgatlioglu went to the pits with problems on his Yamaha bike.
Another rider who had bike problems was Bagnaia, who went off the racing line with his Ducati. Meanwhile, on the 15th lap, Ogura launched an attack on Fernández in a battle for second place but made a mistake and saw his teammate open a gap. Behind, Moreira was making a recovery race and was in 12th.
With 17 laps, Fernández took the race lead, while Martín was soon overtaken by Ogura, dropping to third place. A little further back, Di Giannantonio, in fifth, pressured Márquez for fourth place. On the 20th lap, the Japanese rider overtook his teammate, taking the race lead.
Di Giannantonio and Márquez went side by side through a corner, and the Spaniard went onto the gravel and took fourth place, while Álex Márquez took advantage of his brother’s move to advance to fifth. Without pace, the current champion was overtaken by Enea Bastianini, dropping to seventh place. The Tech3 Italian, however, made a mistake and saw Márquez overtake him.
Di Giannantonio was penalized with a long lap for the incident with Márquez. The race continued, and Ogura went on to win, followed by Fernández and Martín.
