In the session that defined the starting positions held on the morning of this Saturday (9) at the Le Mans circuit, the Leopard Racing team rider recorded a time of 1min40s044 in the decisive phase, securing the top spot on the grid.

Máximo Quiles, with an Aspar bike, will start from second position after being beaten by Fernández by 0.140 seconds. Joel Kelso, from MLav, completes the front row in third position. Marco Morelli, from Aspar, starts fourth, opening a second row that also includes David Muñoz, from Intact GP, and Veda Pratama, from Team Asia.
Brian Uriarte will start from seventh position in Sunday’s race, just ahead of his teammate at Ajo, Álvaro Carpe. Matteo Bertelle begins the contest in ninth with MTA, while Eddie O’Shea, from MLav, took the tenth position on the grid. Guido Pini, from Leopard Racing, and Hakim Danish, from MSI, close out the top 12.
