Spanish rider David Almansa secured pole position this Saturday (29) for the Aragón GP, the 13th round of the 2026 Moto3 season. In the final qualifying session held this morning at MotorLand, Spain, the Intact GP rider recorded 1min56s347 on his only lap to claim the top spot for Sunday’s race.

The second position on the grid went to Marco Morelli, an Aspar rider who was beaten by Almansa by 0.033 seconds. Championship leader and Morelli’s teammate, Máximo Quiles, completes the front row in third place. Matteo Bertelle, from MTA, starts fourth, followed by Adrian Cruces, fifth with CIP, and Brian Uriarte, sixth with Ajo.

Álvaro Carpe, a rider for Ajo, starts seventh, opening a third row that also includes Adrián Fernández from Leopard Racing and Valentín Perrone from Tech3. Jesús Ríos starts from tenth position on a bike prepared by Snipers, while Guido Pini from Leopard Racing starts 11th. The top 12 group is completed by Rico Salmela from Tech3.
