Alonso López won this Sunday (30) the Aragón GP, the 13th round of the 2026 Moto2 season. The Gresini rider started from pole position and stayed at the front of the race held at MotorLand, a racetrack located in Alcañiz, Spain, throughout the contest, achieving his first victory of the year and the fourth of his career.

Second place went to Izan Guevara, a Pramac rider who stayed close to López throughout the 19 laps but fought a tough battle with David Alonso on the final lap, leaving the Aspar rider in third place, completing the podium. Senna Agius crossed the finish line in fourth with Intact GP, while Iván Ortolá, from MSI, was fifth.

Championship leader Manuel González finished sixth with an Intact GP bike, with Daniel Holgado crossing the line in seventh with Aspar. Deniz Oncu, from Marc VDS, finished eighth, with Alex Escrig, from KLINT, in ninth. The top ten was completed by Adrián Huertas, riding an Italtrans bike.

The race featured accidents. On lap 15, Collin Veijer, who was fighting for third place with David Alonso, crashed in turns 4 and 5, leaving the race. Ángel Piqueras, who escaped the track without crashing, returned to the pits and retired.

Moto2 continues on September 11, 12, and 13 with the San Marino GP, a race scheduled for the Misano circuit in Italy.
