Marc Márquez won this Sunday (30) the Aragón GP, the 13th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. The Ducati rider took the lead of the race after overtaking Marco Bezzecchi on the sixth of the 23 laps contested at MotorLand, a racetrack located in the Spanish city of Alcañiz, and held off pressure from Pedro Acosta to triumph.

Acosta, with KTM, crossed the finish line in second place, after staying close to Márquez for much of the race. Bezzecchi, with Aprilia, completed the podium in third place, after starting from pole position. Álex Márquez, with a Gresini Ducati, was fourth, while Jorge Martín, from Aprilia, closed the top 5.
Fermín Aldeguer finished the race in sixth place with a Gresini Ducati, finishing just ahead of Fabio Di Giannantonio, seventh with another Ducati, this one prepared by VR46. Enea Bastianini, with a Tech3 KTM, was eighth after overtaking Diogo Moreira on the final lap, leaving the Brazilian from LCR Honda in ninth. Brad Binder, from KTM, closed the top 10.
The MotoGP season resumes on September 13, when the San Marino GP will be held at the Misano circuit in Italy.

The race started with Marco Bezzecchi maintaining first position after seeing Marc Márquez appear in front of him. Jorge Martín moved up to second place, with the current world champion in third. Pedro Acosta and Raúl Fernández completed the top 5, while Diogo Moreira advanced to ninth place.
At the end of the first lap, Martín made a mistake and was overtaken by Márquez and Acosta. The championship leader was also overtaken by Álex Márquez, dropping to fifth place. Fermín Aldeguer passed Moreira, leaving the Brazilian in tenth place on the third lap of the race. Up front, Bezzecchi maintained a seven-tenths lead over Márquez.
On the fifth lap, Bezzecchi saw Márquez cut the gap to just three-tenths, while Fabio Di Giannantonio and Aldeguer started battling for eighth position. On the sixth lap, Francesco Bagnaia crashed at turn 9, leaving the race. Márquez overtook Bezzecchi to take the lead, while the Italian was also overtaken by Acosta, dropping to third.

Franco Morbidelli fell at turn 16, leaving the race, while Raúl Fernández had problems with his Trackhouse Aprilia and retired to the pits. With all this, Moreira advanced to eighth place in the race with seven laps completed. Up front, Márquez maintained the lead but was heavily pressured by Acosta, while Bezzecchi saw his rivals pull away.
The race reached the tenth lap with Márquez and Acosta separated by two-tenths, while Bezzecchi, Álex Márquez, and Martín completed the top 5. Moreira remained in eighth position. With 12 laps, Bezzecchi closed in again on the two race leaders. On the 14th lap, the Ducati Spaniard opened a small gap over the KTM rival, extending it to five-tenths.
Who started to stand out in the race was Enea Bastianini, who appeared in tenth position with the Tech3 KTM, after starting from 16th place. The Italian began battling Jack Miller for ninth place on lap 16, in a fight just behind Moreira, who held eighth position. Up front, Márquez pulled away by 1.4 seconds in the lead.
Bastianini passed Miller and took ninth place, and from lap 19, began attacking Moreira, who initially defended against the Italian. With three laps to go, Toprak Razgatlioglu crashed with the Pramac Yamaha, abandoning the race. In the middle of the pack, the Brazilian continued defending eighth place from Bastianini, while Miller and Brad Binder closed in.
Márquez went on to win the race in Aragón, while Acosta was second, just ahead of Bezzecchi. Bastianini overtook Moreira on the final lap, leaving the Brazilian in ninth position.
