Ugo Ugochukwu was the fastest driver on the first day of Formula 3 collective testing at the Barcelona Circuit in Spain. In the first of his sessions held this Wednesday (15) in Montmeló, the Campos Racing driver recorded 1min28s322 in his best lap, not being surpassed by the other drivers.

Second place went to Théophile Nael, also from Campos Racing, who finished 0s170 behind the time set by Ugochukwu. Louis Sharp, with Prema, recorded the third fastest time of the day, followed by Christian Ho, fourth fastest with Rodin, a team that also saw Brando Badoer complete the top-5.
Brazilian Pedro Clerot, with another Rodin car, finished the day with the sixth fastest time, ahead of James Wharton, seventh with Prema. Noah Stromsted, a Trident driver, recorded the eighth best mark, while Bruno Del Pino, from Van Amersfoort, was ninth. The list of the ten fastest also included Enzo Deligny, from Prema.
The best driver of the session held in the afternoon at the Barcelona Circuit, Maciej Gladysz was 11º overall with an ART Grand Prix car. Meanwhile, Fernando Barrichello had the 29º fastest time in the combined results of the day’s two activities in Spain.
F3 activities in Spain will continue this Thursday (16), when two more sessions take place.
