F3: Pedro Clerot is the second fastest of the day in Imola after his first test in the rain

Brazilian Pedro Clerot was a standout on the first day of F3 testing in Imola, Italy, a circuit hosting the last of the category’s three post-season testing sequences. With a contract signed with Rodin for 2026, Clerot recorded his best mark at 1min33s110, finishing just 0s055 behind this Tuesday’s leader. The Brazilian’s best lap was set in the afternoon session, on a dry track, after the morning tests were conducted in the rain.

“It was a very positive day for us. The car performed well in the rain and then also in the dry when we set our best lap. It’s the third different circuit in a few days, but we’ve already managed to show growth and I feel more ready every day to make my debut in an F3 race next year,” says Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

Clerot tested the F3 car this month in Jerez and Barcelona, circuits that also hosted tests for two days each. In Imola, as had already been the case at the Catalan circuit, Clerot finished as the best rookie of the day.

The first F4 Brazil champion and with victories in his F4 Spanish debut, Clerot will finish his stint in FRECA this weekend in Monza, also in Italy. The driver is in fourth place in the championship, where he has accumulated two wins and six podiums in 2025.

F3 activities in Imola continue this Wednesday with the last day of collective testing of the year.
