The final round of FRECA 2025 will be held this weekend and the double-header in Monza, Italy, marks the end of a two-year cycle for Pedro Clerot with the Van Amersfoort Racing team. The partnership yielded great achievements and this final challenge also marks the 100th race in the history of FRECA, considered the main gateway to F3.

“I am very excited and confident for the final round in Monza. It is the end of a two-year chapter for us with the team, so I am really very happy to have been able to fight for the title this year. Happy with what we built in these two years, with the same mechanics, engineers, and the same package. We created an incredible team together, so I only have to thank VAR for this period,” says Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.
Clerot and VAR achieved two wins, three poles, and six podiums in the 2025 season, in addition to two other podiums in 2024 and three more wins in the Rookie category last season.

“It has really been two years of many experiences for me, so I am very grateful for everything we went through. This year we fought for the championship until the penultimate round and showed what we are capable of. We worked hard and unfortunately it is the final chapter, but I am confident that we will finish this chapter in a good way and who knows, fighting for wins in the final round,” adds Clerot, who is confirmed in F3 for 2026.
The FRECA collective tests in Monza will be held this Friday. Saturday will start with qualifying at 3:30 am and Race 1 follows shortly after, starting at 7:50 am. The second qualifying opens Sunday at 3:30 am and defines the grid for Race 2, which marks the 100th race in FRECA history, starting at 9:50 am (Brasília time).
