Raúl Fernández won the Sprint of the Dutch GP, the tenth round of the 2026 MotoGP season, held this Saturday (27) at the Assen circuit. The Aprilia Trackhouse rider took the lead early in the race and held off the rivals’ approach in the last of the 13 laps to win the weekend’s short race.

Second place went to Ai Ogura, a rider who reduced Fernández’s gap in the final laps but could not attempt an attack. Fabio Di Giannantonio, with a VR46 Ducati, took third place, followed by the Aprilia duo, with Marco Bezzecchi finishing fourth, followed by Jorge Martín.
Francesco Bagnaia, with a Ducati, finished sixth, ahead of Marc Márquez, his teammate who finished seventh. Enea Bastianini, with a Tech3 KTM, was eighth, just ahead of Pedro Acosta, also on a KTM. The top 10 was completed by Fabio Quartararo, on a Yamaha. Diogo Moreira, the only Brazilian on the grid, was 11th with the LCR Honda.

The race started with Ai Ogura taking the lead, followed by Jorge Martín and Raúl Fernández. On the very first lap, Joan Mir went down at turn 4, retiring from the race. Still early in the race, Martín regained the lead from Ogura. The top 5 at the end of the first lap also included Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi. Diogo Moreira was in 11th position.
Ogura came under pressure from Fernández, who managed to overtake on the second lap. Moreira advanced to tenth after Pedro Acosta made a mistake in one of the corners and went through the gravel. On the third lap, the Brazilian passed Fabio Quartararo and entered the points zone by taking ninth place in the race.
Márquez and Bagnaia started battling for sixth place, with the current world champion prevailing. Up front, Fernández took the race lead by overtaking Martín, while Di Giannantonio passed Ogura, moving up to third place on the fourth lap. The Aprilia Spaniard made a mistake and dropped to fourth, coming under pressure from Bezzecchi.

On the fifth lap, Martín overtook Ogura again, who regained third place a few meters later. At the front, Fernández began to receive an attack from Di Giannantonio for the race lead, while the Trackhouse Japanese rider tried to close in on the two. On the next lap, Jack Miller retired from the race with the Pramac Yamaha, returning to the pits.
With seven laps to go, Bagnaia passed Márquez, taking sixth place in the race, while Martín and Bezzecchi battled for fourth, with the Italian taking fourth place. Both were warned for track limits. The leading pack continued with Fernández in front, now with some advantage over Di Giannantonio, who was pressured by Ogura.
Ogura overtook Di Giannantonio with four laps remaining, while Fernández had a 1.3-second lead over his teammate. Behind, Moreira lost two positions to Acosta and Quartararo, dropping to 11th place. Bastianini, meanwhile, was fighting with Márquez for seventh place.
Trying to fight for the win, Ogura set the fastest lap on the 11th lap of the race, while Franco Morbidelli crashed on the penultimate lap. Fernández went on to win, leading a Trackhouse one-two with Ogura, while Di Giannantonio completed the top 3.
