Formula 2 will soon hold, starting at 13:05 this Sunday (24), the main race of the third round of the 2026 season, scheduled for the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, in Montreal, Canada. After securing pole position in qualifying, Laurens van Hoepen starts at the front with a Trident car in the long race of the weekend.

The second position on the grid went to Nikola Tsolov, who enters the race in third place in the championship. The Campos Racing driver starts ahead of Martinius Stenshorne, from Rodin Motorsport, who starts third, sharing the second row with John Bennett, fourth with the second Trident car. Rafael Câmara, from Invicta, starts fifth, while Emmo Fittipaldi, from AIX, starts 11th.
The Canada round is the third of 14 scheduled for the 2026 season of the main feeder category to Formula 1. This is also the first time the category visits the circuit located in Montreal.
