Driver representing Invicta Racing in Formula 2, Rafael Câmara got even closer to the championship lead after the 11th round of the 2026 season, concluded this Sunday (13) at Madring, a circuit located in Madrid, Spain. The Brazilian finished sixth in Saturday’s Sprint and, this morning, ended the main race in tenth, reducing the lead at the top of the standings from 11 to seven points.

After securing third place on the grid for the main race on Friday, Câmara started eighth in the Sprint race and moved up two positions, finishing sixth, also seeing his main rival retire. This Sunday, the Ferrari Driver Academy member faced a Safety Car deployment and a ten-second penalty, but overcame his title rival on track and finished tenth, earning one more point.
With three rounds remaining until the end of the championship, Câmara has reached 170 points, compared to 177 for the leader in the standings. The Brazilian’s season so far includes two wins, achieved in Barcelona and Spa-Francorchamps, as well as six podiums and five pole positions, the highest number among all drivers on the grid.
