Dino Beganovic won on Sunday (13) the main race of the 11th round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held at Madring, a circuit located in Madrid, Spain. The DAMS driver started from pole position and led the race, which was ended by time, not by number of laps, from start to finish, winning for the first time this year.

Second place went to Alexander Dunne, who stayed close to Beganovic throughout the race, without being able to attempt an overtaking maneuver. The Rodin Motorsport driver was followed by Ritomo Miyata, Sprint winner and third with Hitech. Joshua Durksen crossed the finish line in fourth with Invicta Racing, while Emmo Fittipaldi, from AIX Racing, was fifth.

Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak finished the race in sixth position with the ART Grand Prix car, while Gabriele Mini, from MP Motorsport, was seventh. Martinius Stenshorne finished eighth with Rodin Motorsport, with Roman Bilinski, from DAMS, in ninth. Rafael Câmara, from Invicta Racing, completed the points zone in tenth place. Nikola Tsolov, from Campos Racing, lost performance in the final laps and was only 18th.
The race in the Spanish capital featured neutralizations. On the second lap, Kush Maini stopped at the wall with the ART Grand Prix car after being hit by Cian Shields, and the Safety Car was deployed the following lap. The AIX Racing driver was penalized for the incident after a few laps.

On lap 18, Oliver Goethe stopped at the wall with the MP Motorsport car while battling for position with Câmara, and the yellow flag was deployed again. The Brazilian was penalized by ten seconds. During the second neutralization of the race, John Bennett stopped at the wall with the Trident car.

Formula 2 continues the 2026 season on September 24, 25, and 26 with the Azerbaijan round in Baku.
