Guido Pini won this Sunday (29) the United States GP, the third round of the 2026 Moto3 season. In one of the most hectic races at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, the Leopard Racing rider took advantage of a tangle between Álvaro Carpe and Valentín Perrone at the last corner of the final lap to take the lead and come away with the victory.

Carpe and Perrone dueled for the first position in the final laps and swapped overtakes. The two, however, touched at the last corner of the circuit located in Austin and allowed Pini to take the first position to come away with the victory, obtained by just a 0s056 advantage over Máximo Quiles, second with Aspar. Carpe, from Ajo, was third, followed by Perrone, from Tech3.
Adrián Fernández, Pini’s teammate, finished the race in fifth position, finishing just ahead of Rico Salmela, sixth with a Tech3 bike. Brian Uriarte finished the race in seventh with Ajo equipment, with Adrián Cruces, from CIP, in eighth. Matteo Bertelle, from MTA, and Scott Ogden, from CIP, rounded out the top ten list.

After three rounds, Máximo Quiles leads Moto3 with 65 points, against 42 for Álvaro Carpe, the championship runner-up. Valentín Perrone, with 38, appears in third, with Guido Pini in fourth, totaling 36 points. The top five group in the standings also includes Marco Morelli, with 32.
Moto3 will continue on April 26, when the Spanish GP will be held at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit.
