After announcing Nelson Piquet Jr. and Leonel Pernía, Honda Racing confirmed three more names for the TCR South America season opener. The team led by Sebastián Martino will also feature Tiago Pernía, Adrián Chiriano, and Fernando Croce, with the possibility of expanding the number of vehicles throughout the year.

The only newcomer in the group, Fernando Croce defended the colors of PMO Racing and Porthack Racing in 2025 and now joins the official lineup of the Japanese brand. He will compete with a Honda Civic Type R FK7 and will aim for a direct fight for the Trophy Cup title.
Tiago Pernía had already been confirmed a few months ago. The Argentine will continue competing with the Honda Civic Type R FL5, a new generation model that he will also use in TCR Europe. Thus, he maintains his commitment to the TCR concept, participating simultaneously in two continental championships.

Trophy Cup champion Adrián Chiriano also remains with the team. The driver from Buenos Aires will defend the title won in the final round at Interlagos, after overcoming Enzo Gianfratti in a direct battle for the championship. With extensive experience in national motorsport, Chiriano joined TCR South America in 2025 and, after good results in the early rounds, secured the trophy. For the new season, he will use the Honda Civic Type R FL5.
Honda Racing’s first track activity is scheduled for March 6, during the TCR South America collective tests at the Circuito dos Cristais in Curvelo (Minas Gerais).
