Cobra Racing Team confirmed this Thursday (26) that Gabriel Moura will be the first driver to take over one of the team’s new latest-generation Audi RS3s in the 2026 TCR South America season. The 17-year-old driver leaves Turismo Nacional Brasil to take the first step in his international career.

Moura began his career in motorsport as a child, at the age of four, and competed in his first race at five. In karting, he built a prominent resume, including a Brazilian Championship, three Brazil Cups, three South-Brazilian titles, and twelve state championships. The highlight of his career in the discipline was winning the Brazil Cup in the Shifter category in 2024.
In 2023, Gabriel made his professional motorsport debut in Formula Delta Brazil, where he stood out by winning the Brazil Cup, earning the title of best rookie, and finishing as overall runner-up, despite competing in one fewer race than his rivals. The following year, he moved to touring cars, competing in the HB20 Cup, a category in which he ended the season as runner-up.

In Turismo Nacional Brasil, his most recent participation, Moura achieved two pole positions and two victories in his debut year, finishing the championship in third place. At just 17 years old, he joins other young talents who have been standing out in the category, such as Brazilian Enzo Falquete, Argentines Nicolás Fuca (18) and Camilo Trappa (19), and Uruguayan Joaquín Cafaro (20).
For the 2026 season, Cobra Racing Team faces a new challenge with the arrival of two new-generation Audi RS3s. Present since the debut of TCR South America, the team led by Nonô Figueiredo returns to the German brand, with which it achieved important results in 2021, including the overall runner-up spot with Rodrigo “Digo” Baptista and the Trophy Cup title with Adalberto Baptista.
