Alonso López conquered pole position for the Aragón GP, the 13th round of the 2026 Moto2 season. In the final phase of qualifying held on the morning of this Saturday (29) at MotorLand, a circuit located in Spain, the Gresini rider recorded his best lap time of 1min49s405, securing the top spot.

Second position went to Izán Guevara, a Pramac rider who was beaten by López by 0.179 seconds. The front row will also include Daniel Holgado, third with an Aspar bike. Championship leader Manuel González starts from fourth position with Intact GP, while David Alonso, from Aspar, starts fifth. Collin Veijer, from Ajo, completes the list of the top six.

Barry Baltus, with a Fantic bike, starts from seventh position, while Ángel Piqueras, a rider defending MSI, starts from eighth place, followed by Alex Escrig, ninth with KLINT. Filip Salac, with an American Racing Team bike, starts tenth, with Senna Agius, from Intact GP, in 11th. The top 12 grid also includes Joe Roberts, Salac’s teammate.
