Third place in the Formula 2 season, Rafael Câmara tries to reduce the gap to the leader this weekend at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Considered the favorite track of many drivers, the Brazilian has a very positive history at the racetrack located in the Ardennes region.

Câmara has collected four wins and eight podiums at the traditional 7 km long circuit, all between 2022 and 2024, during the time the Brazilian raced in the German and Italian F4, as well as the Formula Regional European. There were three wins in the former FRECA, one in 2023 and two in 2024, plus a victory in the German F4, this one with a special flavor for being the driver’s first win in European single-seaters, after years of success in karting.
Current F3 champion, Câmara closed the first half of the F2 season with 94 points earned. The Invicta driver won in Barcelona and also stood on the podium in Miami and Melbourne. Now, the Brazilian driver tries to return to the top in what will be the eighth round of the championship.

F2 activities at Spa start this Friday (17) with the only free practice at 6:05 AM. Qualifying is scheduled for 11 AM on the same day. Saturday features the Sprint race starting at 9:15 AM, while the main race start is set for 5 AM on Sunday. The full schedule will be broadcast on Sportv3, Globoplay, and F1TV.
