Raphael Reis won on Sunday (23) Race 2 of the sixth stage of the TCR South America, held at the Oscar Cabalén Circuit, in Córdoba, Argentina. The Brazilian surpassed Juan Ángel Rosso and Néstor Girolami, who completed the podium of the race. The victory came after a lively race from the start:

Nicolas Fuca started in front after the grid inversion. The driver managed to maintain the position despite the attack from Enzo Gianfratti. However, both ended up going slightly off track. With that, Juan Ángel Rosso took the lead. Fuca remained in second, while Raphael Reis moved up to third.

The first lap was very busy, with several overtakes and climbs, but no incidents. Reis managed to pass Fuca for second place. Nelsinho Piquet, who was in fourth, briefly went off track and then had to go to the pits to remove grass from the front of the car.

The race continued frantic, with Reis getting closer and closer to Rosso. The two were side by side at times, but Rosso defended well. In the middle of the pack, the race stabilized.

With 18 minutes remaining, Reis finally made the overtake to take the lead and began to open a gap on the next lap.

The following minutes were more stable, with penalties Néstor Girolami making the overtake on Fuca in one of the most dynamic moves of that moment. Leonel Pernía also managed to overtake Fuca.

The race ended with Reis’ victory. Rosso and Girolami completed the podium in Argentina.
