Lando Norris was voted Driver of the Day at the Dutch Grand Prix of Formula 1 after securing his second consecutive victory of the 2026 season. The British McLaren driver received 18.5% of the votes and narrowly beat Fernando Alonso.

Norris started from pole position in Zandvoort but had to work for the win throughout the race. The result also marked his second victory at the Dutch circuit in three years.
The fan vote reflected the balance among some of the main highlights of the race. Alonso finished second in the public’s preference, with 17.7%, after putting Aston Martin back in the points zone.
Lewis Hamilton appeared in third place in the vote, with 13.1%. Kimi Antonelli received 9.8% of the votes, while Yuki Tsunoda completed the top 5 with 7.5%.

The difference of just 0.8 percentage points between Norris and Alonso showed how close the fans’ choice was in Zandvoort, despite the McLaren driver’s victory in the race.
