The duo Raphael Reis and Felipe Fraga set the best time in the final free practice for the Super Challenge Interlagos. The Brazilians, who race with the Cupra Leon VZ prepared by W2 Pro GP, achieved 1min39s923 this morning at the Interlagos Autodrome, host of the third round of the championship.

Enzo Gianfratti/Jenson Brickley took second place, 0s480 behind the leaders. The first 100% Argentine duo, Tiago Pernía and Esteban Guerrieri, appeared in third, with 1min40s655. Right behind came the current champion Leonel Pernía, with Julián Santero, who clocked 1min40s821. Néstor Girolami and Gaetano di Mauro closed the session in fifth place with 1min40s921.
Brazilians Pedro Cardoso/Celso Neto recorded the sixth best time: 1min41s076. Right after came the duo Camilo Trappa and Alex Ley, with 1min41s307. The eighth fastest lap was in the hands of Juan Ángel Rosso/Francisco Viel Bugliotti, who clocked 1min41s349. Gabriel Moura and Gastón Iansa were ninth with 1min41s513. Erick Schotten and Bruno Massa closed the top-10 with 1min41s611.

TCR South America holds qualifying for the Super Challenge race this Saturday, starting at 3:00 PM, with Q1 only for invited drivers and Q2 for the main drivers of the South American championship. The session will be broadcast on the category’s official YouTube channels.
