The duo Raphael Reis and Felipe Fraga will start from pole position in the Super Challenge Interlagos, the third round of TCR South America and TCR Brasil in the 2026 season. The two drivers excelled in qualifying this Saturday (25), triumphing at the Interlagos Racetrack.

Q1
The first qualifying session was entirely dedicated to the guest drivers of the round. They had 15 minutes to set their best times.
Right on the first lap, Alex Ley was touched and went off track, but did not damage the car. The first few minutes were for tire warming.
The drivers started to open fast laps close to the final five minutes. Felipe Fraga, Raphael Reis’s teammate, set the best time with 1min41s367. Julián Santero, teammate of current champion Leonel Pernía, achieved 1min41s799.
In the final stretch of the session, Jenson Brickley, Gianfratti’s teammate, took the lead with 1min41s123. Santero was 0s008 behind. Fraga was third with a 0s214 difference.
However, the Brazilian managed to improve on the last lap and finished with 1min41s070.
Q2
To guarantee pole position, the teams’ times would be added up. Therefore, the main drivers had the responsibility to be precise in their laps.

Reis already opened the times with 1min40s994, surpassing the Argentine Juan Ángel Rosso by 0s643. Reis also had a brief scare when he spun on the track, but managed to recover the car.
With eight minutes remaining, most cars returned to the pits. When they returned, the drivers accelerated for the last chance at pole position.
Reis achieved 1min41s070, securing first position alongside Fraga. Second position went to Leonel Pernía and Julián Santero. Enzo Gianfratti and Jenson Brickley will start in third place, followed by Néstor Girolami and Gaetano di Mauro. Nicolás Fuca and Santiago Urrutia complete the top-5 of the initial grid.
The start of the South American category’s long-distance race is scheduled for 2:30 PM, with broadcast on the category’s official YouTube channels.
