Raphael Reis and Felipe Fraga won this Sunday (26), the Super Challenge Interlagos of TCR South America and TCR Brasil. The drivers started from pole position, with Fraga at the wheel. The current Stock Car champion managed to hand over the car to his teammate with more than seven seconds of advantage. The time was enough for the duo to dominate the race and secure the victory. Green flag and Felipe Fraga managed to pull away in front. Leonel Pernía also maintained second position, followed by Jenson Brickley, who was soon overtaken by Gaetano di Mauro. The Briton would return to his initial position on the next lap. Despite the great movement on the grid, no car retired at the start of the race.
In the following minutes, the drivers remained more conservative, without many overtakes to avoid damage before the final part of the race. However, during a stronger dispute, Enrique Maglione ended up hitting the rear of Camilo Trappa’s car and had to retire from the race.
At twenty minutes, the grid remained largely unchanged. Highlight for Marcos Regadas, who started 19th and was already in 12th position at that moment.
Just one minute later, Gaetano di Mauro had to go to the pits, while the battle between Juan Ángel Rosso and Esteban Guerrieri Guerrieri heated up and the Paladini Racing driver gained the position, moving up to fifth. Shortly after, Marcos Regadas also had to take the car to the pits for a tire change. In the middle of the pack, Galid Osman managed to overtake Guerrieri and took sixth place.
Thirty minutes on the clock and Celso Neto reclaimed ninth place from Diego Ciantini. The arrival of lap 17 brought the opening of the pit stop window for driver changes. Fraga was the first to enter, on lap 18. Subsequently, most of the grid entered. The stop was mandatory to last 1min45s.

After the driver changes, Raphael Reis managed to comfortably maintain the first position obtained by Felipe Fraga. Julián Santero was in second, followed by Enzo Gianfratti. The race continued without major incidents, only Nelson Piquet Jr.’s car having problems.
At the start of the final ten minutes, Reis led with more than seven seconds of advantage. However, he was soon affected by the entry of the Safety Car after Juan Manuel Casella’s crash.
The race resumed with just under two minutes still on the clock. Reis maintained the lead to win, with Pernía right behind and Enzo Gianfratti completing the podium.
