Formula 2 holds its second round of the 2026 season this weekend on a stage unprecedented in its history: the Miami circuit, in the United States. Current Formula 3 champion, Rafael Câmara heads into the double-header seeking to maintain the performance shown at the championship opener in Australia, where he secured a second place in the main race with Invicta Racing.

The Brazilian, a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, highlighted the work done with Invicta Racing in the double-header that started the season, but keeps his feet on the ground. For Câmara, it is important to continue the good performance in the rest of the championship, starting from Miami, to reach the end of the championship fighting for the F2 title.
“I am really happy with the work we did with the team. Now, we need to continue in the right direction and carry this momentum into our next race,” said Rafael Câmara, who holds second place in the F2 championship after the Australian round, accumulating 18 points, seven less than the leader.

Miami was a circuit that, initially, would not host F2. The round was included due to the impossibility of holding the double-headers in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, as a result of the conflicts in the Middle East, which have been occurring since March.
The F2 schedule in Miami will begin this Friday (1st), when the weekend’s only free practice and qualifying, which will determine the starting positions for the two races, will take place. Saturday is reserved for the Sprint, which starts at 11 am. The main race is scheduled for 1:30 pm on Sunday. Sportv will broadcast the round live.
