Brian Uriarte won this Sunday (31) the Italian GP, the seventh round of the 2026 Moto3 season, held at the Mugello circuit. The Ajo rider took the lead of the race at the start of the last of the 17 laps, saw the rivals battle for second place, and opened a gap to triumph.

Second place went to Álvaro Carpe, Uriarte’s teammate at Ajo, who grew in the battle in the final laps. Hakim Danish crossed the finish line in third with MSI, completing the podium. Adrián Fernández, from Leopard Racing, was fourth after leading part of the race, while Joel Esteban, from MTA, closed the top 5.
Eddie O’Shea crossed the finish line in sixth with MLav, while David Muñoz, from Intact GP, was seventh. Veda Pratama finished eighth with a Team Asia bike, with Joel Kelso in ninth with MLav. The top 10 also included Jesús Ríos, a Snipers rider.

Moto3 championship leader Máximo Quiles ran in the front pack, but two slips in the final moments of the race relegated him to 11th place. Another who appeared little during the race was Marco Morelli, who quickly advanced to third place on the penultimate lap after running outside the top 15. In the end, an almost crash dropped the Argentine to 13th place.
The next round of the 2026 Moto3 season will be held on June 7, with the Hungarian GP, a race scheduled for the Balaton Park circuit.
