The team has faced recent difficulties involving suspension and other mechanical problems that affected both Checo and Valtteri Bottas throughout the sessions. Despite performance improvements, the driver believes the track operation is still far below what is necessary.

“I am impatient at the moment with the operational side. I think it is something we need to improve, and we are very urgent about it because we are not maximizing the results,” he said.

According to the Mexican, Cadillac is already showing positive signs in terms of car performance, but still loses competitiveness due to errors outside the technical part. “We are making progress in performance, which is very positive, but operationally it is something we are falling short on,” he explained.

Perez also highlighted that the team needs to quickly find solutions to prevent problems from compromising the season in Europe. “We have to find our way for the European phase of the season now,” he added.
