Brando Badoer won this Sunday (7) the main race of the second round of Formula 3, held on the street circuit of Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Rodin Motorsport driver took the lead at the start, overtaking Theóphile Nael, and maintained the lead throughout the 27 laps of the race, securing the victory.

Second position went to Nael, the Campos Racing driver who couldn’t keep up with Badoer’s pace, finishing just over two seconds behind the winner. The podium also featured Freddie Slater, third with Trident. Ugo Ugochukwu, from Campos Racing, was fourth, followed by Ernesto Rivera, his teammate.
Bruno Del Pino, with a Van Amersfoort car, crossed the finish line in sixth, ahead of Alessandro Giusti, seventh best with MP Motorsport. The Brazilian Pedro Clerot, from Rodin Motorsport, was eighth best, with Gerrard Xie, winner of the Sprint, finishing ninth with DAMS. Noah Stromsted, from Trident, completed the top-10 and the points zone.
The race featured a Safety Car intervention. On the second lap, Tuukka Taponen stopped at the wall with the MP Motorsport car after a touch with Maciej Gladysz. Fernando Barrichello did not cause the race neutralization, but had problems with the AIX Racing car after hitting the wall on lap 20 and retired from the race.
In the final laps of the race, Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi took off after being touched by Jehan David, losing many positions. Another driver who had problems in the final part of the race was Nicola Lacorte. In both cases, a Safety Car intervention was not necessary.

Formula 3 continues its 2026 season next weekend, heading to the Circuit de Barcelona, in Spain, for the third round of the championship.
