Champion of the 2025 Formula 3 season, Rafael Câmara had his first official activity in Formula 2 this Wednesday (10), when the category opened the collective testing session at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi. The Invicta driver completed 74 laps throughout the day and recorded the second-best time, finishing just 0s066 away from the fastest mark.

Câmara’s fastest time of the day came in the last of the two sessions, when he completed 33 laps and clocked 1min37s269 on his best lap. In the morning, the Brazilian who is part of the Ferrari Driver Academy completed 41 laps and recorded the tenth-best mark.
“It was my first time in a Formula 2 car. I had a good first feeling with the car. I did a few laps and got more and more used to it. With every lap, I felt more comfortable,” said Câmara, shortly after the end of the day’s activities at the circuit located in the United Arab Emirates.
