Max Verstappen made his frustration clear to Red Bull during the second free practice session of the Formula 1 Hungarian GP. The Dutchman finished in fourth position, but was quite off the pace compared to Lewis Hamilton, who led on Friday (24).

The four-time champion was almost 0.7s behind the British driver from Ferrari – in fact, Charles Leclerc completed a one-two finish by taking second place. Furthermore, the team impressed with their pace in the race simulation.
Then, nearing the end of the session at the Hungaroring, Verstappen opened up to Gianpiero Lambiase about the problems he was having with the rear of his RB22.

“My rear axle locked up completely again and it’s extremely stiff. I think I have a problem. I simply have no rear grip,” he said on the radio.
