Antonella Bassani closes the weekend at the Velocitta racetrack with another podium in the Porsche Carrera Cup. Accustomed to having success in Mogi, the Mobil™ driver finished the second race of the category in fifth position.

Starting in third, Antonella complained about problems with the car and was unable to maintain the position. With the restart after the safety car, Bassani was overtaken and finished in fifth position. Even so, she managed to bring the car to the podium and continue well in the championship fight. The driver occupies seventh position, with 53 points, tied with Marcos Regadas.
Antonella, who had finished fourth on Saturday, will compete in the next stage of the Porsche Cup on European soil, competing in the Le Mans stage on June 11, 12, and 13.

What she said:
“It was a Sunday that we had high expectations for, but we had problems with the front left of the car and we will only find out what happened later. It was a race without safety car intervention and I found our race pace very weak. But the weekend was positive, two podiums achieved and we are back well in the championship. Now it’s eyes on Le Mans”.
