Marc Márquez won the Sprint of the German GP this Saturday (11), the 11th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. The Ducati rider started from pole position at the Sachsenring circuit and maintained the lead throughout the 15 laps contested, always withstanding the approach of Álex Márquez, who was constantly fighting for first place.

Álex Márquez finished the fight in second place with a Gresini Ducati, withstanding pressure from Fabio Di Giannantonio on the final lap, leaving the Italian Ducati VR46 rider in third place. Ai Ogura, with an Aprilia from Trackhouse, finished fourth, followed by Raúl Fernandez, his teammate.
Championship leader Jorge Martín crossed the finish line in sixth with the Aprilia, ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, seventh with the Ducati. Pedro Acosta, with the KTM, finished the race in eighth, while Fabio Quartararo, from Yamaha, was ninth. Brazilian Diogo Moreira closed the fight in tenth with an LCR Honda.
After the Sprint, MotoGP holds the German GP this Sunday (12), starting from 9 a.m.

The race started with Marc Márquez maintaining first position, followed by Álex Márquez and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Raúl Fernández and Ai Ogura completed the group of the top five. Jorge Martín appeared in sixth, while Diogo Moreira gained two positions and completed the first lap in 12th place.
Still on the second lap, Pedro Acosta, in ninth, already received a track limits warning. A little further back, Moreira advanced to 11th place. Ogura overtook Fernández on the third lap and took the third fourth position in the race, while Álex Márquez continued to pressure Marc Márquez for the race lead.

While Acosta pressured Fabio Quartararo for eighth place, managing to overtake on the fifth lap, Álex launched an attack on Marc for the lead, bringing with him Di Giannantonio, the third-placed rider. On the seventh lap, Franco Morbidelli suffered a crash with the VR46 Ducati at turn 13, abandoning the race. With that, Moreira advanced to tenth place.
Marc Márquez maintained the lead but was unable to open a gap over his rivals, who at this point were Álex Márquez, Di Giannantonio, and Ogura. Further back, Moreira remained in tenth position, distant from Quartararo and resisting attacks from Luca Marini.
The race entered the last five laps with the two Márquez brothers battling for first position, while Di Giannantonio could no longer close in. Martín, in sixth, scored few points, but enough to extend his championship lead to 11 points, as Marco Bezzecchi did not compete after fracturing his collarbone in qualifying that morning.
On the penultimate lap, Marc opened a small but important gap over Álex, who was again pressured by Di Giannantonio. The advantage was vital for the current champion to claim victory in the weekend’s short race. Further back, Moreira finished the race in tenth place.
