Noah Stromsted won in the early hours of this Sunday (28) the main race of the fourth stage of the 2026 Formula 3 season, held at the Red Bull Ring, in Austria. In a very eventful race, the Trident driver took the lead with three laps remaining, overtaking teammate Freddie Slater to claim victory.

Second place went to Ugo Ugochukwu, a Campos Racing driver who led part of the race and overtook Slater on the final lap, leaving the Trident driver in third. Pedro Clerot had a great performance finishing fourth with Rodin Motorsport after taking advantage of rivals’ battles to gain four positions. Jin Nakamura, from Hitech, was fifth.
Taito Kato, with an ART Grand Prix car, crossed the finish line in sixth place after 26 laps, followed by Tuukka Taponen, seventh with MP Motorsport. Hiyu Yamakoshi finished eighth with Van Amersfoort, ahead of Nicola Lacorte, ninth with DAMS. Kanato Le, from ART Grand Prix, was tenth.
The race featured some neutralizations. On the very first lap, the Safety Car came out after an incident involving Maciej Gladysz and Yevan David, with both retiring from the race. Later, with five laps to go, another contact, this time involving Woohyun Shin and Fernando Barrichello, caused the Virtual Safety Car to be deployed.
The 2026 Formula 3 season will continue next weekend with the fifth stage, scheduled for the Silverstone circuit in England.
