Formula 2 completes the first half of the 2026 season this weekend with the England round, the seventh of the year. The championship shows the top two very close, but with two other rivals trying to catch up to the leaders to fight for the title in the final part of Formula 1’s junior category.

Gabriele Mini leads the season with 108 points after six double rounds, holding a slim two-point advantage over second-placed Nikola Tsolov, who has won four of the 12 races this year. Rafael Câmara is third in the championship with 82 points, against 80 for Alexander Dunne, who is fourth. Emmo Fittipaldi, with ten points, is in 20th place.

The Formula 2 schedule will open this Friday (3rd) with free practice and qualifying sessions that will determine the starting positions for the two races of the weekend. The Sprint race is scheduled for Saturday, starting at 9:45 AM, while the main race will be held at 7:15 AM on Sunday. Sportv, Globoplay, and F1TV will broadcast the entire schedule.
