Nikola Tsolov won this Sunday (7) the main race of the fourth round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held on the street circuit of Monte Carlo, Monaco. The Bulgarian from Campos Racing spent most of the race in second position, but took the lead after Rafael Câmara retired and after Kush Maini, who delayed his pit stop, changed tires on the penultimate of the 42 laps.

Second position went to Alexander Dunne, a Rodin Motorsport driver who finished five seconds behind Tsolov. Dino Beganovic, with a DAMS car, completed the podium in third place after overtaking Maini on the final lap, leaving the Indian from ART Grand Prix in fourth. Martinius Stenshorne, from Rodin, completed the list of the top five.
Ritomo Miyata, with a Hitech car, crossed the finish line in sixth, followed by Emmo Fittipaldi, seventh with AIX Racing after starting from 19th position. Sebastian Montoya, from Prema, was eighth, while Noel León, winner of Saturday’s Sprint, was ninth with Campos Racing. Roman Bilinski, from DAMS, completed the top-10.
The race featured only one Virtual Safety Car deployment, caused after Câmara, who started from pole position, went straight at a corner while battling for the lead with Tsolov one lap after his pit stop for tire change. The Brazilian from Invicta led the race until the 35th of 42 laps, and could not return to the track, retiring.

Formula 2 continues its 2026 season next weekend, when it visits the Circuit de Barcelona, in Spain, for the fifth round of the championship.
