Ross Brawn is back in the world of motorsport, but now on two wheels. The former Formula 1 boss is now part of the board of directors of Pramac Racing in MotoGP.

The executive spent almost four decades in F1 in numerous roles and teams, Benetton, Ferrari, Honda, Brawn GP itself and Mercedes, as well as having been the category’s CEO, and now takes on a non-executive role and will act as an advisor to the team led by Paolo Campinoti in the premier class of the Motorcycle World Championship.
With 11 constructors’ titles and 11 drivers’ titles, Brawn arrives at Pramac excited about the new challenge. “Motorsport has always been about people, teamwork and continuous improvement, and I look forward to supporting Paolo and the team, contributing where my experience is useful,” he said.
“Pramac has built an impressive organization, with a strong and ambitious spirit, and I am excited to be part of its future,” he added.

Meanwhile, Campinoti stated that “besides his extraordinary career and achievements in Formula 1, Ross is someone with whom I have shared a friendship and a relationship of great respect for many years. I believe his vision, knowledge and winning mentality will make a valuable contribution to the continuous growth and development of Pramac Racing.”
Brawn is the second big name from Formula 1 to join MotoGP. Gunther Steiner, former Haas boss, became CEO of Red Bull KTM earlier this year.
