The third round of TCR South America began its activities this Friday (24), with the first free practice for the pairs who will participate in the Interlagos Super Challenge. Brazilian Enzo Gianfratti and Briton Jenson Brickley led the session with the Cupra Leon VZ from G Racing. They clocked 1min41s385.

Next came rookie Gabriel Moura, also Brazilian, who partners with Argentine Gastón Iansa. They achieved 1min41s798. The activity remained dominated by Brazilians: Raphael Reis and Felipe Fraga finished third with 1min42s063, while Gabryel Romano and Alberto Cattucci obtained the fourth best time with 1min42s069. Fifth position went to Uruguayan Juan Manuel Casella and Brazilian Galid Osman, who were 0s904 behind the leaders.
Nelson Piquet Jr., who partners with Marcos Regadas, secured sixth place in the session with 1min42s356, followed by the Argentine duo Leonel Pernía and Julián Santero, who clocked 1min42s522. Next came Diego Ciantini and Rodrigo Lugón with 1min42s614. The ninth best lap was by Fabricio Pezzini and Javier Merlo. Tiago Pernía and Esteban Guerrieri closed the top-10.
