Brazilians showed greater strength on Friday (24) which opened the official activities of the Super Challenge Interlagos, the third round of TCR South America and TCR Brasil in the 2026 season. In the late afternoon, Raphael Reis and Felipe Fraga dominated the track of the most famous racetrack in South America and recorded 1min40s228.

The 2025 champion, Leonel Pernía, achieved 1min41s249. He forms a duo with fellow Argentine Julián Santero. Diego Ciantini and Rodrigo Lugón placed third, with 1mins41s389. Next came Gabriel Moura/Gastón Iansa, with 1min41s398. Erick Schotten and Bruno Massa had the fifth best lap, in 1min41s461.
Enzo Gianfratti and Jenson Brickley, who led the first practice, finished in sixth place in this activity. Juan Ángel Rosso/Francisco Viel Bugliotti was the seventh best duo, while Néstor Girolami and Gaetano de Mauro appeared for the first time in the top-10. Juan Manuel Casella and Galid Osman achieved the ninth lap. Fabián Yannantuoni and Beto Monteiro closed out the top ten of the day in Interlagos.

Activities continue this Saturday, with the third and final free practice scheduled for 8:00 AM. The qualifying session will be at 3:05 PM, with Q1 contested by guests and Q2 by drivers who fully compete in TCR.
